Student Blogging Awards

Have you ever written a blog post? Do you want to win a Kindle? Are you a college student? If you answered yes to all those questions, then this contest is for you.

How to Enter:

Simply copy and paste the embed code found on the right side of this page into the blog post you want to enter. When a user clicks on the badge, it will count as one vote towards your article winning the contest. The deadline for submission is November 18th.

Prizes:

The top five contestants will win a brand new Kindle shipped straight from Amazon.com.

Selection Process:

The 10 posts receiving the most votes before November 18th will be sent to our panel of judges. They will select the winners based on their assessment of the quality of the posts. If your post is selected, we will contact you using the contact information found on your blog.

Tips for Winning:

  • Post the badge right now! It will give you more time to collect votes before the November 18th deadline.
  • Remember, recent blog posts naturally receive more traffic than old blog posts.
  • Pick one post. If you ask your readers and friends to vote for you, it will concentrate their voting power on one page.
  • Put the badge at the beginning and end of your post. Be sure to explain to your readers why it is there so they can vote for your article.
  • Tweet and share your blog post with your friends asking them to help out.
  • Don't click the badge multiple times hoping it will count as multiple votes. It won't work.
